Brush Everyday

This should go without saying, but if you want to protect your gums against disease, then you’ll want to make sure that you brush your teeth at least twice a day to remove food particles and plaque. Also, don’t forget to brush your tongue, which also contains bacteria. By brushing effectively and frequently, you can reduce the amount of plaque on your teeth.

Don’t Forget to Floss

While brushing will certainly go a long way to protect your teeth and gums, your oral routine wouldn’t be complete without flossing. Only floss can get into those hard-to-reach spots between teeth that your toothbrush can’t reach. Opt to floss at least once a day to really keep plaque buildup down.
